ADOPT A PET: Meet Arteyu | Pets
DECATUR, Ga. - If you dream of coming home to a wet nose, wagging tail and tons of kisses (in addition to, perhaps, a half chewed shoe or overturned trashcan) adopt a puppy from your local pet shelter. According to the ASPCA, approximately 5 million to 7 million domesticated animals enter animal shelters nationwide, every year, and approximately 3 million to 4 million are euthanized. However, you can change those numbers but adopting a "companion" for yourself or your family. Pets are an investment but, in our opinion, an investment well worth the money.
Atreyu is a Doberman and Hound mixture. According to the Humane Society, he is a rambunctious and fun loving pup. He is friendly to everyone he meets, either human or canine and he can get enough of his beloved toys. Atreyu is looking for a home where he can have many years of love, attention and affection. He’s still a baby and needs some training but that shouldn’t be a problem. Atreyu can be adopted for $175.00. He is a member of the Small Dog Adoption program.
If one should choose to adopt a pet from PAWS Atlanta, the adoption fee includes: vaccinations and de-worming, a veterinarian visit, a microchip and surgical sterilization. And, a list of the basic requirements for adoption can be found here. PAWS Atlanta is located at 5287 Covington Highway in Decatur.
