Yaktavia Hickson led Columbia with 11 points, but it was Mann's make after she missed her first 10 shots that gave the Eagles (27-3) their second consecutive state championship, third in four years.

Jasmine Jones scored 15 of her 17 points in the second half to lead the Patriots (25-7).

Mann's free throw with 0:12 left cut Sandy Creek's lead to 37-36. She missed the second, but rebounded a missed 3-pointer and scored the game-winner.

Despite having 4 seconds left, Sandy Creek never inbounded the ball and time expired.

Neither team broke 25 points heading into the fourth quarter. It was the first time in any classification since 1980 that both girls teams failed to break 40 points in the title game.
