DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Three people are in custody for questioning after a standoff in DeKalb County on Monday evening. 

According to Captain Mears of the DeKalb County Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Clifton Church Road after a report of a person barricaded in a house. 

Reports say shots were fired as authorities attempted to make contact with the people in the house. It is unclear whether the shots were fired toward officers. 

Police are unsure if there were hostages during the standoff and charges, against the suspect, are pending. 

No further information was immediately released.
