Suspects open fire on DeKalb County officer | News

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Suspects opened fire on a DeKalb County Police officer in South DeKalb County on Wednesday night.

According to authorities, the officer was driving by the Citgo on Flat Shoals Parkway when he thought he saw a drug deal happening.

Police say the officer pulled up to the suspects, got out of his car and was shot at by the suspects before they fled the scene.

The officer took cover and was not injured.
