Sneiderman withdraws request to visit husband's grave | News
DECATUR, Ga. -- Andrea Sneiderman has withdrawn her request to visit her husband's grave, due to "press coverage."
Sneiderman is currently under house arrest. Prosecutors say she and her former boss, Hemy Neuman, plotted to kill Rusty Sneiderman. He was gunned down outside his son's daycare in November 18, 2010.
Neuman is already serving a life sentence for the murder, and Andrea is facing charges, including murder. The house arrest is a condition of her bond.
Sneiderman was asking a judge for a break in order to observe Yahrtzeit. That is a Jewish religious observance that takes place on the anniversary of a loved one's death.
In order to do that, she would've needed to travel to Rusty's gravesite to recite a prayer and light a candle.
