Celebrate FNO in Atlanta | Events
ATLANTA – Ready to frolic with the rich and famous, be fabulous and have a fun with fashion? Check out the festivities for Atlanta’s second annual “Fashions Night Out” event. Atlanta is, once again, participating as an official host city for the annual celebration.
Fashion’s Night Out is a celebration incepted in 2009 in New York as an “after-hours shopping extravaganza”. The event is designed to allow celebrities and designers the opportunity to mingle with shoppers and participate in exclusive events.
This event does more than celebrate fashion; it enables designers to bring iconic fashion staples like the Diane von Furstenburg “wrap dress” to your front door. Showcasing the DVF fall collection, popular Paces Ferry boutique, Sandpiper will be holding a patio party on Thursday night.
And if you take a trip downtown, you have a shot at being a celebrity for a day. Popular shoe boutique, Jeffery will be offering makeovers to guests and posting their photos on storefront windows.
Other local shopping outlets like Phipps Plaza, The Avenues and Lennox Square will be participating in the event. Atlantic Station and the Midtown Mile will be announcing, a number of, and pop-up shops they will be hosting on their properties. Also, stores like: Deka, Emly Benham, fab’rik, Palas Jewelers, Pella, Potpourri, Razzle Dazzle and Tootsies will participate.
The annual celebration kicked off on Tuesday with the “A Night to Remember” program which featured Tyson Beckford, Kenny Lattimore and Judy Mauldin. Check out the FNO website and Facebook page for more information.
