Carr, an amazing entertainer who wears many hats in the industry. She has done dancing (ballet, jazz, hiphop and liturgical), poetry, acting in stage plays such as, "The Wisdom of Oz" written, directed and produced by Michael D. McDuffie and modeling and participating in various fashion shows and pageants. Andrea has dreams of touching plateaus that have yet to be reached by others.

Clayton State professor to perform at WordFeast

Clayton State professor to perform at WordFeast

ATLANTA -- One of Clayton State University's most notable professors will use his gift of words to enhance WordFeast, a production benefiting Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Phillip DePoy, a Decatur-based novelist and playwright, as well as director of Clayton State Theatre, will perform at WordFeast at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at Fabrefaction Theatre Company.

Hosted by Rob Cleveland, WordFeast will include works and performances by a variety of talented local writers. Admission is $15 or 15 cans of food for the shelves of Atlanta Community Food Bank.

"This is a worthwhile event that benefits the Atlanta Community Food Bank at Christmas, and I'm very glad to be donating my time to the cause," DePoy said.
