DECATUR, Ga. -- An award-winning author from South Carolina will read from his newest short story collection at the Georgia Center for the Book next month.
George Singleton is the author of five collections and two novels. The stories in his latest book, Stray Decorum, were previously published in a number of journals, including The Atlantic, Oxford American and The Georgia Review.
Singleton has received several prestigious awards for his writing as well as a 2009 Guggenheim Fellowship.
The reading will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 14. Admission is free; copies of Stray Decorum will be available for $15.95.
The Georgia Center for the Book is located at the Decatur Library on Sycamore Street.
