Decatur Man Punches Fourteen-Year-Old Girl | Crime

A Decatur man, forty-one year old Scott Filler, has been banned from all Vail Resorts as a result of an assault on a 14 year old girl, last week.

According to officials, Filler has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse for punching the girl in the face after she bumped into his 4-year-old son while attempting to avoid a fallen skier at Colorado's Beaver Creek Ski Resort.

Eagle County Sheriff's Lt. Mike McWilliam says a ski instructor intervened and Filler apologized when he realized his son wasn't seriously hurt.

Vail Resorts own the Beaver Creek Ski Resort.
