2 men in critical condition following shooting, pastors meet about rising crime

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- Two people are in critical condition at Grady Hospital following a shooting in DeKalb County.

The incident began Tuesday night inside a house, located off of West Austin Court, where a possible gun sale was taking place. An argument broke out between two men inside the house before a woman told them to go outside.

The argument continued outside where shots were fired. One man was shot in the abdomen twice, while the other was shot in the face.

The woman drove the man shot in the abdomen to a local QuikTrip, located off of Covington Highway.

She ran in and told the clerk a man had been shot in the stomach. An off duty officer jumped in to action and called other people to his rescue.
